#182 Hetty
Meet Hetty. She is on her way to the local 4th of July picnic and is wearing her favorite dress made from a civil war print Toile' fabric. She took along her pillow that has "Liberty" hand stitched on it. She also has a hang tag that I altered with some great flag paper, a vintage print of an eagle and flag. I also stamped 1776 on the bottom. Hetty decided to go barefoot so she could wade in the creek after she ate. Her feet and hands are hand sculpted. Hetty is a 19" doll with hand sculpted and stitched facial features. She has two brown button eyes. She has hand painted lips that are also sculpted, painted finger and toe nails. Hetty's hair is a charcoal spun wool. She has been aged with a cinnamon rub and her clothes have been aged to look like she has been around for a long time. Hetty is a great Americana doll that would fit in any decore year round.
